French Club
French Club meets to immerse members into the French language and culture from Parisian French to French Canadian to Cajun/Creole. These levels of French are for beginners learning the language to those fluent who want to practice their French. The club is informal with the primary goal being to learn and improve French language skills. French Club meets every Tuesday from 11:30 am – 3 pm offering Beginner, Intermediate, and Conversational French. The club is informal for learning or improving your French. 11:30 am – 12 pm is the “very” beginner class, 12 – 12:30 pm is our “later” beginner class, 12:30 – 1:30 pm is our intermediate class, and 1:30 – 3 pm is the conversation class. Do you like to tinker? Consider yourself a Do-It-Yourselfer? Are you curious about new technologies like 3D printing, Computer Aided Design, CNC machining, computer programming, robotics, or about what can you do with a Raspberry Pi or Arduino around the house? Or do you just like to make things? If so, the Hill Country Makers may be the group for you! We are a group of people who like to discuss what we are working on at home and learn from each other. Meetings often include tutorials and demonstrations, and from time to time we offer short courses to the larger community. We are also engaged in building projects together.
