Pre-K Kits
We have a hard time keeping our existing Pre-K kits on the shelves and are expanding this popular collection! These kits introduce and develop understanding of key concepts including phonics, counting, senses, alphabet, sorting, and more. STEAM to Go kits will expand on our current offerings and will encourage young children to build, solve puzzles, experiment, and learn about our natural world.
Citizen Science
A citizen science kit holds everything needed to gather data for a specific citizen science project. Each kit includes a printed activity guide, helpful tips, and any specialized tools or materials needed to complete the project. Topics include the identification and counting of pollinators, gathering light pollution data, and more. These are appropriate for older children and adults, and families.
Makerspace to Go
Love our makerspace and programs but want more time to explore crafting and tech on your own at home? Check out kits with everything you need to develop your creative and artistic skills and complete projects: crochet and knitting, sewing, needle felting, leatherworking, and more. Tech kit topics will include coding, robotics, and virtual reality.
Stay Sharp
These theme-based activity kits for older adults are designed to stimulate cognitive function and improve memory. These can be especially helpful for individuals experiencing memory loss due to dementia, Alzheimer’s or other memory or cognitive challenges. They are also beneficial for anyone wanting to improve their short-term memory. The kits are interactive and are best shared with family or a friend, or to provide caregiver support.
