Located at the east end of the library, the Friends bookstore is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Here you can find gently used books and DVDs at bargain-basement prices, reading glasses of various magnifying powers, ear-buds, and the occasional seasonal item (Christmas cards, Easter egg coloring kits, etc.).
In addition to cash and checks, the bookstore accepts credit and debit card payments of $5.00 or more.
Do you have some old books or DVDs you no longer need? Bring them in to the bookstore. We’ll put your donation to good use. Would you like to meet some of your neighbors who also love books? Volunteer to help staff the bookstore by sending an e-mail message expressing your interest to email@example.com.
All profits from Friends bookstore sales go to the Library to fund services and programs for our community which might otherwise not be covered by the Library’s operating budget.
Friends of TPML receive a 10% discount on books purchased inside the bookstore. Books on the outside clearance table, DVDs, CDs, eyeglasses, ear buds and other merchandise are not included, but you’ll be pleased with the low prices!
Stop in and look around the next time you’re at the Library. You’ll be glad you did.
