Located at the east end of the Library, the Friends bookstore is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Here you can find gently used books and DVDs at bargain-basement prices, reading glasses of various magnifying powers, ear-buds, and the occasional seasonal item (Christmas cards, Easter egg coloring kits, etc.).
In addition to cash and checks, the bookstore accepts credit and debit card payments of $5.00 or more.
Do you have some gently used books or DVDs you no longer need? Bring them in to the bookstore. We’ll put your donation to good use. Would you like to meet some of your neighbors who also love books? Volunteer to help staff the bookstore by sending an e-mail message expressing your interest to friendsoftpml@gmail.com.
All profits from Friends bookstore sales go to the Library to fund services and programs for our community which might otherwise not be covered by the Library’s operating budget.
Friends of TPML receive a 10% discount on books and other items purchased inside the bookstore.

Donation Guidelines
The book store accepts the following items:
- Clean, gently-used books
- Current magazines from the previous 12 months
- Audiobook CDs, DVDs, and music CDs
- Complete puzzles and board games
The following items are NOT accepted:
- Items in poor, soiled, or damaged condition
- Cassette and VHS tapes
- Burned/copied DVDs and CDs
- Encyclopedias, old medical/technology reference materials
- Textbooks
