1000 BooksBefore Kindergarten
Register your baby or young child and set your goal to read 1000 books before he or she starts kindergarten. Come by the library Help Desk and sign up. Every time you read 100 books, bring in your reading log and your child’s name will be added to the Reading Tree. When you reach 1000 books, your child with receive a book and their picture on the Reading Tree (and be better prepared for kindergarten).

Tumblebooks
Tumblebooks is an online collection of animated talking picture books or books to be read online. Go to the catalog and click on Tumblebooks under the electronic resources section to access it.

Page TurnersReading Club
Come read lots of books and do educational activities.

LegoWeDo Robotics
Join us once a month as we learn to build and program Lego creations. For ages 6-12.
Registration required. Register through our online calendar or call the library for assistance.

AWE EarlyLiteracy Stations
Two computers (one bilingual) are loaded with over 65 educational software programs for kids ages 2 – 8.
They offer safe, standalone computers not connected to the internet that are engaging and academically relevant for children.
This purchase was made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services and Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

GrowingUp Wild
This program is for kids ages 3-7. It's held once a month. This program is an early childhood education program that teaches children to explore nature and wildlife.
Registration is required and can be done by calling the library or going to the library's online calendar and clicking the "Register" button below the Growing Up Wild event.
