Library volunteers are key to the success of the Library.
Our volunteers help with:
- Repairing books
- Providing needed maintenance to the Library and fountain area
- Checking-in and shelving Library materials
- Teaching literacy, computer classes, and various language classes
- Assisting with various adult and children’s programs
- Being a Reader Weeder; keeping the grounds weed-free
- Helping the Library staff in many other ways, as needed
If you would like to contribute your time and talents to the community, volunteering at the Library is a fun and friendly way to do it. It is a great way to meet new people and make new friends. Note: TPML does not currently accept court-ordered community service volunteers.

VolunTEEN
Drop in VolunTEEN – Need volunteer hours for school?! Or just love the Library and want to help out?! Drop in on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm and volunteer as little or as long as you like! For ages 13-17. No registration required.
VolunTEEN – come help out at our Family Fun events or other activities we are hosting. These times are scheduled and can be found in our Events Calendar. Registration Required.
